We begin our year’s journey through the phases of of the Moon with a Dark/New Moon ritual, accompanied by a discussion of the nature of our work with the Moon as Wiccans and magick workers.  This will be the first of seven open rituals, culminating in a Dark Moon ritual at Samhain, and we will be providing guided meditations (written and audio recordings) and blog posts for Full and Dark Moons in between the opens.

This ritual will mark the end of the Long Nights Moon—the Full Moon of mid-Winter—and the beginning of the Wolf Moon, which will we will greet with another ritual on the 23rd of the month.  We are emerging from the darkest time into the growing light, making this a particularly good time to nurture your Inner Light for the coming year.

Details: 4th Quarter in Capricorn; New Moon at 8:31PM EST.  Gather at 6:30PM

Ritual robes are welcome, though not required.  Please bring a dish to share for the pot luck following the ritual.
